Ah, it’s Monday again. The dreaded day for workers, professionals and students who have their first day of classes today (Come on kids! Enjoy school. Value your education.)

My Monday has been a little fucked up. Here’s why:

• Dallas Mavericks bowed down to Miami Heat earlier. Miami Heat leads the series, 2-1. Dirk! Why did you miss that shot? Bawi tayo sa susunod. #BeatTheHeat #LaughAtLebron #CryQueenJames
• Twilight Saga: Eclipse won the Best Movie at the MTV Movie Awards. Seriously? What happened to Harry Potter? Avada Kedavra!

On a more serious note:

• When I opened the television to watch the news, I saw the same problems that we’ve been facing every year during the opening of classes. Oh Daang Matuwid!
• Noynoy is eying Mar Roxas as the new DOTC Secretary. K. Lagi na lang posisyon ni Mar ang inatupag.

On a personal note:

• I have calories to burn and weight to lose but I forgot to jog earlier this morning. Bawi na lang mamayang hapon.

Let’s lighten things up by listening to this song by one of my favorite groups, Peryodiko. I always spin this song every morning (and whenever I feel down) as my feel-good energy booster.
